Two conferences on St. Teresa's Journey of Prayer.  

Also videos from the conference in San Jose California: Including two Virtual choirs, 1st, Carmelite nuns from around the world singing "Nada de Turbe" ("Let nothing trouble thee...") and 2nd, open to the entire family of Carmel, the "Salve Regina".  Both compositions by Sister Claire Sokol, Carmel of Reno, NV.

I will lead them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer.

In celebration of the 500th Anniversary of St. Teresa of Avila’s birth, the Carmelite Sisters of Concord invite you to attend a special event at the Parish Center of St. John’s Church, 72 South Main St. Concord, Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Sr. Hilary Case, OCD will give two conferences on St. Teresa and the Journey of Prayer and Contemplation. We will also share a special video, “The Daughters of St. Teresa,” which portrays the sisters of a variety of U.S. Carmels, and a virtual choir of Carmelites singing “Nada Te Turbe,” original music with visuals composed by Sr. Claire Sokol, OCD of the Carmel of Reno, NV. We will close our day with Sr. Claire’s virtual choir singing the Salve Regina. Please bring your lunch. Coffee will be available. There will be time to exchange with some of the Carmelite Sisters and also with members of the Secular Carmelites.
